LICORICE hopped at the start, and stalked the leaders from the back of a compact field entering the backstretch, commenced her bid four wide entering the final turn, swept to the lead entering the lane, and held off a late surge by DREAM B to prevail. DREAMB tracked the leaders from along the inside entering the backstretch, rallied one out from the rail entering the final turn, and closed with late interest two wide in the drive to just miss. FOOTHILLS BLVD. away alertly and dueled for the lead from the outside of B C CHU CHU entering the first turn, rallied two wide to take a narrow advantage through the final turn, was overtaken entering the lane, and finished from along the rail in the drive to garner a share. B C CHU CHU away well and vied for the lead from along the rail entering first turn, set a pressured pace from the inside of FOOTHILLS BLVD in the run down the backstretch, rallied along the rail entering the final turn, but faded in the late going. ALOBRAH broke sharply and tracked the dueling leaders three wide entering the backstretch, rallied three wide entering the final turn, and weakened over the final furlong.
