Chart notes
ECHO DREAMER raced from mid pack in the five path, launched a bid at the half mile pole, circled the field through the turn, was under a steady drive gaining ground and building momentum with each stride, passed the last pole, breezed by the rest of the leaders and got the win. ACCELERATING BABE stalked the pace, raced four wide, bid at the three eighths pole, improved, gained ground in the stretch, was caught by an outside closer, dueled but could not repel the out side challenger and finished second. TRIBEST (ARG) stalked the leader, pressured the leader, took over and led by the three eighths pole, was joined by two other foes in the upper stretch who challenged for the lead, battled in between those two rivals then tired right before the wire. PEGGY'S WAY vied for the lead, led, raced on the rail and had the inside advantage, had lost the lead in the turn but was on the lead again in the upper stretch was challenged, battled, then gave way. SEQUAYA awkward start, mild gain late. FOREVER BLESSED was no factor. SWEET SMILA stalked, raced in between rivals and was no menace. HOLY STAR never involved.
