GOD GUNS N GUTS was away well but fell back early, raced three wide, launched bid at the three eighths pole, quickly improved position, circled the field through the turn, hooked another stalking rival leaving the turn, shifted out as a set entering the upper stretch, drew beside two front runners in the upper stretch creating a four way battle for the lead, battled until the eight pole where the first two leaders tired, continued to duel with the other remaining rival, raced stride for stride down the stretch, dueling until a few jumps before the wire when GOD GUNS N GUTS put his neck out in front and claimed the win. QUIERO DINERO was off and racing from mid pack, raced in the two path initially, creeped into a stalking position, was joined by another rival near the five sixteenth pole, worked as a set through the remainder of the turn, edged out as a set into the four path, challenged the front runners for the lead near the eighth pole, wore them down, dueled with the horse beside him, dug in and battled trying to establish a clear leader, finally near the wire QUIERO DINERO relinquished the lead settling for a hard earned second. DASH TO THE CASH trailed early, was allowed to settle, raced on the rail and made one long run, closed well with a clean trio and passed tired rivals down the stretch finishing third. TALLAPOOSA raced from mid pack in the three path ,launched a bid at the half mile marker, improved position, split rivals in the upper stretch, raced in between horse battling for the lead, made it a four way battle for a few strides, but could not sustain the bid. ICE AXE was off a step slow, raced on the rail and mildly gained late. WHOLE LOTTA LUTE vied for the lead, raced three wide then faltered. SHAMAN SEZ vied for the lead, stalked the leaders,, drew beside the leaders at the quarter pole and battled into the stretch then tired.
