Chart notes
BROADWAY BOOGIE pursued from midpack two wide, then along the inside around the final turn, bumped an outer foe while shifting outside of the top pair at the three sixteenths pole, sustained gradual progress to bid in the final sixteenth and edged past late. MARKSMAN QUEEN (GB) set the pace a bit off of the inner rail early on, moved to the inside into the second turn before feeling stern pressure from an outer challenger into the backstretch, showed the way remaining in hand around the far turn, responded to rousing and shook free engineer the lane, held sway into the final furlong, but was caught by an outer bidder in the late stages. LUCKY COMBINATION stalked forwardly placed in the three path, reclaimed place entering the lane, chased the leader well into deep stretch but was outkicked for place by an outer bidder late. HOLY FOLEY laid off of the pace in the two to three path and between horses early on, tucked to the inside into the second turn, crept closer to track behind the leaders turning for home, shifted to the four path into upper stretch, but was bumped by an inner rival at the three sixteenths pole and lacked a bid. BOSS LADY BAILEY tracked along the inside, chased in the three path around the final turn before floating to the five path into the lane and yielded. SABALENKA laid well back in about the three path, then moved up in the lane. I HAD THAT ONE TOO trailed along the inside around each turn, came into the final furlong in the four path and improved late. TEA N CONVERSATION broke a step slow, lacked speed two wide early on, then saved ground around the final two turns, but to no avail. QUEEN REGENT (GB) pursued from midpack along the inside early on, tugged between horses moving through the lane for the first time, pulled to prompt outside of the leader into the backstretch, sustained pressure into the far turn, but weakened entering the lane and caved.
