Chart notes
GRACIE'S BIG DAY vied for the lead inside a trio of rivals to the turn, maintained a short lead through the bend, shook free at the top of the lane and held safely under urging to the wire. NEWPORT DREAMZ hustled from the gate, stalked from inside, waited along the rail behind the leader through the turn, moved out in the lane, finished determinedly down the lane, could not summon the needed late kick and held second. SUNSET GRAZEN chased three deep into the turn, four deep at the five-sixteenths pole and got outkicked for second. SKYLIGHT RIDE stalked the top quarter outside a rival, got shuffled back on the turn, angled to the inside, stayed on the fence in the lane, chased within range into deep stretch but could not produce the needed late kick. APPLE VALLEY GIRL vied three deep between rivals up the backstretch, got put in tight and crowded at the three-eighths pole, chased three deep to the lane, between rivals in upper stretch and flattened late. TROPICAL RAIN DAY chased between rivals well off the rail early, went four wide into the turn, moved into the two path around the bend, tipped three wide approaching the stretch and failed to rally. ON TIME TAM climbed a bit early and dropped back, saved ground to the stretch and summoned a mild rally to improve position. STANFORD HOTTIE showed early speed and fought four deep for command up the backstretch, kept the pressure on the winner to the quarter pole, lost touch approaching the stretch and weakened down the lane. RYAN'S GIRL vied between rivals through the early going, could not keep up past the three-eighths pole, chased two wide into the lane and faded. DADDYGAVEITTOME tracked widest of all up the backstretch, navigated the turn five then four wide and weakened in the stretch run. NEPAL tracked in the three path into the turn, angled to the rail then entered the stretch in the two path and came up empty.
