Chart notes
ASK ALICE was used to contest the pace, pushed to the front at the quarter pole then edged clear driving. LILA AT THE BEACH dueled between rivals, was outkicked to the second turn then dug in late to hold second. TEN THE SMART WAY got outsprinted, was roused three wide to the stretch but could not impact the winner. LA POPIS had no speed, was three wide to the stretch and lacked the needed late response. FANTASTIC SECRET saved ground throughout but was never a threat. LUTE'S DIAMOND also had no speed, was three or four wide and came up empty. SOFIA STRONG disputed the pace for a half mile then gave out.
