Chart notes
DR RUBEN M cleared early and crossed over to the inside, controlled the pace up the backstretch, drew off past the five-sixteenths pole, asked right handed at the top of the lane, remained well clear into the final sixteenth, came out a bit while growing weary late but was able to hold safely. RANK bumped leaving the gate, tracked four then three wide on the first turn, crept closer in the middle stages, chased three then four wide through the far turn, closed well through the final furlong and was cutting into the winners' margin with every stride but had to settle for second best. BROTHER TONY broke out and bumped rival, stalked the lone leader from between rivals, asked around the far turn, chased two wide to the lane, could not summon the needed response but kept on to save third. DAY AND AGE stalked the pace along the rail inside rivals, came under a ride on the far turn while watching the leader draw away, cut the corner into the stretch and weakened. FREEDOM'S NOT FREE bumped with inner rival in the beginning, stalked the pace three deep to the far turn, started to weaken around the bend and faded down the lane. ZABO got pinched back between rivals shortly after the start, steered to the inside, trailed under coaxing on the backstretch, asked left handed at the halfway point, angled out four wide around the far turn and passed tired rivals. TAB WALKER broke a step slow, tracked from inside, dropped back to last on the far turn and tired down the lane. CANO FOR THE WIN bumped leaving the gate, chased three then four wide early, raced in range four deep on the backstretch, dropped back four then five wide on the far turn and had little left for the stretch run.
