Chart notes
PEYTONS HONOR prominent between rivals, took over second just outside AIR GERRI on the turn, lost ground staying outside that one entering the stretch, rallied from path seven, gradually lugged in as she fought on even terms with the latter the last eighth then edged ahead from between horses nearing the wire. AIR GERRI broke outward, bumping COME ON LADY, was then bumped by the latter and forced into THE LAST THRILL, quickly recovered to share the lead between horses, moved ahead and stayed just off the inside on the bend, drifted out to path five into the lane, was challenged from outside after entering the the final furlong, gradually forced in with a sixteenth left and began to yield nearing the finish. LUTION trailed from well off the inside, lost considerable ground widest through the turn, surged from outside the last eighth, came up short but got up in time for the show. WIN WITH COLOR displayed early speed from inside, did not keep up on the bend, swung out to path six entering the stretch and found best stride too late from between horses. THE LAST THRILL bumped solidly leaving the chute, raced in contention from just off the inside, advanced along the rail on the turn, steadily closed the gap through the lane, also came up short but was easily best of the others. PRIMITY was an early contender toward while toward the outside but faded three wide on the bend. COME ON LADY exchanged bumps with AIR GERRI at the start, raced in the second flight on the backstretch but began to yield two wide on the turn.
