Chart notes
CLAPPING unhurried, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, bid four wide gaining a short lead into the stretch, dueled late and held under steady pressure. MISSIONARY MAN rated in the early going, moved up on the two path through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch, made a steady gain, dueled late and lacked the needed kick. MAXIMUM FAITH stalked the pace on the outside, lost some position on the two path through the second turn, fanned three wide into the stretch, then could not gain and held the show. GRAND MORNING sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, drew off down the backstretch, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then weakened late and held a share. BAYTOWN BEATLE rated back, angled in into the second turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and flattened the final furlong. VINO COURAGIO mid pack, gained position three and four wide through the second turn, then faded into the stretch.
