Chart notes
HAWKSTONE tracked the dueling leaders three wide and made a three wide bid off the turn, then was put to a long drive and prevailed late to prove best in game score in between rivals. REPLEVIN pressed the early pace and went up to duel for command two wide on the turn, then was sent down and ran on but lost the head bob to just miss. SMUGGLER'S GOLD was rated early on the outside, four wide on the turn, then closed well on the outside in the lane but needed more late. DAVOLA set a pressured pace early and then dueled for command on the in side on the turn, then dug in determinedly in the lane but gave way grudgingly late. STAYGOLDPONYBOY tracked the pace on the inside and angled off the inside in the lane but lacked the needed winning bid. MIDNIGHT READY chased the pace and was two wide on the turn, angled out in the lane but had no kick. TESTED was settled early, inside into the lane and had no rally. BATTER UP was off a step slow, three wide on the turn while trailing, came five wide into the lane and had no rally.
