Chart notes
ALL ABOUT TONITE sprinted clear and moved to the inside, showed the way in hand, was let out on the bend, drifted out upper stretch, was brought back inside, widened command inside the furlong marker, drifted out again under left-handed urging in the late going but was easily best of the others. BRAHMS JR. bumped at the start, raced in the second flight from outside, lost ground four wide taking the turn, lodged a mild bid in the stretch and got up for second near the wire. ZEE FIRE chased from off the inside, failed to keep up while just off the rail through the turn, also showed a willingness to run in the lane, squeezed through between horses deep stretch and caught YOUNG MISCHIEF for third. YOUNG MISCHIEF prominent from inside, squeezed through tight quarters two wide to threaten into the bend, did not keep up leaving the turn, moved clear for second, took the rail upper stretch when ALL ABOUT TONITE came out and wore down inside the last furlong. FIVEO'CLOCKCHARLIE chased from outside, advanced four wide on the turn, fanned outside BRAHMS JR. into the stretch and was also rallied belatedly in the late going. LAST GASP was hustled along to race in the second flight between rivals, was three wide through the bend and gave way for the stretch run. CHILDERSATTACK soon faded from between horses, saved ground taking the turn and was empty for the drive.
