Chart notes
BLOOD BROTHER stalked from the three path the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole and dueled to even terms two deep midway on the far turn, bore to the outside leaving the turn but dug in when straightened away, took over the final yards and raced clear at the wire. NO BRAKE NEEDED rounded the first turn about the four path, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and raced close off the rail on the far turn, dug in to take second later yards but was outfinished for the win. WELL SPOTTED stalked from the four path the opening turn, challenged into the backstretch and took the nod toward the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and dug in under steady handling leaving the turn, but was caught while flattening stride later yards. EL REY DE PAPA raced in the four and five paths the first turn, left the turn outside and gave chase from the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the five path and showed little more. LOCOMOTIVE broke a step slow then rounded the opening turn about the six path, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole but flattened in the five path on the far turn. ANNOINTED saved ground then gave chase past the seven sixteenths pole, but showed little response. HURRICANE JIM set the early pace inside, came under pressure leaving the half mile pole, was met toward the seven sixteenths and gave chase from that point, but weakened at the rail leaving the five sixteenths.
