Chart notes
WAILUA broke a step slow, lacked speed in the three path into the turn, moved forward turning for home, encountered traffic behind the leaders while between rivals in upper stretch, checked subtly nearing midstretch, tipped out to the four path for clear sailing at the furlong grounds after the leader kicked clear, then rallied to drive past that one in the final sixteenth. LIL GIN N CLASS stalked from the three path, applied pressure outside of the leader around the turn, bid and wrestled an advantage entering teh lane in the four path, drew clear nearing midstretch, but was reeled in by an outer bidder in the late stages. BIRDIE ROSE prompted along the inside before stalking into the turn, then chased evenly through the lane to secure show. RIBBONSINHERHAIR laid off of the pace along the inside, retreated to trail into the turn, shifted three wide turning for home before swinging five wide into upper stretch, then ran on mildly to reach fourth late. MISS PEABODY set the pace in the two path, got headed by an outer bidder entering teh lane and faded between horses. IDALOU broke a step slow, pursued from midpack four deep, then only managed to chase through the lane. CANDY CRAZE broke a beat slow, raced off of the pace in the two path before tucking to the inside around the turn, and tired.
