Chart notes
PEIGNOIR set the pace along the inside, felt pressure from an outer rival down the backstretch, shook free of that one turning for home and held sway from a pursuer through the lane. CHILLED pursued from midpack in the two path, chased along the inside around the far turn, claimed place from outer rivals nearing the lane before tipping out to take aim outside of the leader entering upper stretch, but was turned away and proved second best. LET'S DUET broke a beat slow and trailed early on, improved position in the four path around the far turn, tucked to the two path into the lane, then sustained improvement to claim show from an outer rival at the wire. FORESEEN stalked in the three path, chased the top pair around the far turn, gave way and lost show late. UNION MIST bobbled at the start, raced well back in the three path, gained ground in the four path around the far turn, offered a mild bid for show entering the lane but flattened out. CRUSHED ICE tracked along the inside, moved forward around the first turn to press outside of the leader with five and a half furlongs to go, sustained pressure into the far turn, but faded between horses at the five sixteenths pole, steadied when put in tight among foes entering the lane and continued to weaken. PRETTY PROVOCATIVE broke a step slow, saved ground well back but never got involved. MIDSUMMER MARCH tracked in the four path but faded in the three path turning for home. ARIJANA'S PEARL laid off of the pace in the two path, then between horses at the five furlong pole, but faded around the far turn.
