Chart notes

STREET HOCKEY stalked the pace on the outside, moved up and shook clear on the two path through the turn, drew off in the stretch and was kept to the task. DYNO WAR unhurried, angled out and moved up two and three wide through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up for the place. BAYTOWN BULLEIT broke out, bumping a rival at the start, moved up quickly outside, gained position two and three wide through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, then flattened late and held the show. COMPLEX CAT set the pace on the inside, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then wakened the final furlong and held a share. BAYTOWN FURY bumped and pushed out at the start, passed tiring rivals. BRAVADEER well placed and inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and had no rally. STIFLING HEAT was outrun.
