Chart notes
CHANCEL assumed the front easily getting to the rail while in hand entering the initial bend, continued to dictate the pace with little pressure from others down the back straight, kept on rolling along unopposed around the final turn and when asked for more had something left for the drive at the furlong marker to hold safe for the front running score. THIS DUDE A BREEZE was floated out six wide into the first turn, stalked at the rear three deep down the backstretch, began to pick up runners outside at the half, moved in around the far turn to loom the main threat five wide at the top of the lane but could not really gain on the winner late who had something left in reserve. PRIDEOFDISTINCTION was unhurried to be last on the fence in the beginning, moved up positions saving ground on the first turn to settle inside in midfield along the backside, was then shuffled back to co-trail inside a rival through the far turn, angled five wide in the stretch run and finished up mildly outside horses to win third money in deep stretch. CLASSY WHISPER tracked outside in the first turn, took closer order three deep at the half, chased the winner around the last turn, still was in the hunt for a placing four wide between rivals at the top of the stretch but needed more late and faded in the final seventy yards to settle on the fringes in the end. INFAMOUS COVERT had an inside tracking role early on, was nudged at the half but could not maintain forward position down the backside, came under a ride on the fence making no impression around the turn and failed to menace inside runners down the stretch. GREEN FLEET stalked near the rear between rivals in the early stages of the race, made no progression outside a foe through the last turn and could not be a presence in the five path in the run to the wire.
