Chart notes
INDIAN NIGHTS stalked the pace while racing two-wide, angled out to be five-wide entering the stretch and finished strongly to be up in the final strides. WE NEED MARKETING vied with STORMIN ATTILA for the early lead, disposed of that one after three furlongs to open a clear lead, responded when asked and just failed to last in a game effort. ABETEMARCO was forwardly placed from the outset, rallied six-wide into the stretch and finished fast. M G M'S LUCKY was allowed to settle, came seven-wide into the stretch then angled in nearing the eighth pole and rallied late. AUSPICE was close-up early racing along inside, steadied nearing the half mile pole while in tight, dropped back slightly then came three-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. ROAD OF LOVE was unhurried early, came tw0-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. STORMIN ATTILA vied for the lead from along the inside for three furlongs and tired. THE JOCKEY OF AUSPICE LODGED AN OBJECTIONS AGAINST INDIAN NIGHTS BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH,
