MR FLOWERS went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was asked with three furlongs to run, chased three wide on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the four path, made a bid outside the runner-up outside the furlong marker, took a short lead outside the sixteenth-pole, dueled with the runner-up to the finish and prevailed under good handling. CIAO CHUCK was bumped in the hindquarters at the start, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the two path on the far turn, took the lead in the three path into upper stretch, led under a drive into the final furlong, was headed by the winner outside the sixteenth-pole, dueled with that foe while fighting on to the finish and just missed but was clear for the place. PERRETTI (IRE) went four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was asked three wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, pursued the top two in the drive and was along for the show. DURATION went around the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, dropped to the rail near the seven-sixteenths pole, was given his cue outside the three-eighths pole, saved ground on the far turn, pursued the leaders in the stretch and lacked the needed kick. BERNABEU saved ground on the first turn, moved out at the rear near the five-eighths pole, was roused in the three then four path on the far turn, turned into the stretch in the six path and improved position without threatening. WESTERN RUN bobbled at the start then bumped with a foe, moved in early then was hard held while eager along the rail, was taken under stronger restraint while off heels near the seven-sixteenths pole, navigated the far turn in the two path, was roused three wide into the stretch then moved further out and failed to rally. BADGE OF WAR was hustled to the front, went around the first turn in the two path, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside while asked on the far turn, came a bit off the rail into the stretch then lost the advantage before the three-sixteenths pole and gave way. SALACIOUS was rated just off the pace on the inside, drafted behind foes on the far turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, moved out in upper stretch and came up empty. PARTY WITH SMARTY tugged on the bit while in the three path on the first turn then was reserved off the pace, came under some urging in the two path on the far turn, spun three wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. CREEK went two to three wide on the turns, came four wide into the stretch and was no factor.
