WINTERFELL gained a forward position while saving ground into the first turn, was patiently handled stalking the pace through the backstretch run, eased out spying an embattled trio past the three eighths, circled four to five wide into the lane, bid outside COLLECTION DAY in upper stretch, dueled, wrested command a furlong out, spurted away under some right handed encouragement, drifted in briefly, corrected with a left handed ask and widened. COLLECTION DAY broke a step slow, recovered and edged up four deep around the first turn, tracked three wide under some nudging into the far turn, bid three deep soon after, sparred on a slim lead into the stretch, wandered outward once engaged leaving the three sixteenths, corrected and fought on past the furlong grounds, could not keep pace from there but stayed on with good effort to be well clear of the rest. CAP COM , three wide between foes the first turn, settled off the leaders and off the inside through the backstretch run, swung out in the drive and managed to get past tiring rivals. AFRAIDOFTHEBUNNY grabbed command soon after the break, secured the inside and set a comfortable pace, took pressure from a pair of outer rivals leaving the far turn, battled past the five sixteenths, stayed on to about mid stretch then weakened. PIRATE prompted the pace outside the leader, moved to apply more pressure into the far turn, battled between runners while under a hustling ride leaving the three eighths, stayed on with effort to the three sixteenths then gave way. TIGER MOON , between horses early, raced forwardly and outside a rival past the five eighths, had no response leaving the far turn and retreated.
