Chart notes
SWIFTSURE chased the pace outside OCEAN CITY down the backstretch, took the lead in mid stretch then drove clear. THERE ARE NO WORDS raced in the three path on both turns, chased the pace and rallied mildly. SIR LONDON , inside horses down the backstretch, saved ground around the far turn, swung out in mid stretch and lacked the needed response. CRISPER , caught in tight quarters leaving the starting gate, swung to the four path approaching the stretch and had a slight rally. OCEAN CITY sprinted to the early lead, set the pace along the rail, lost the advantage in mid stretch then weakened. NO ONE TO BLAME raced inside horses most of the trip and failed to rally. WOW WHATA SUMMER lacked speed and was not a factor. SMOOTH FLYIN MIKE hugged the inner rail around the first turn and was outrun.
