Chart notes
VANTASTIC tracked outside a rival to the far turn, tipped out to the three path, bid three deep into the lane, put a head in front at the eighth pole and gamely prevailed over rivals on both sides late. CAISSON trailed along the inside early, rounded the far turn two then three wide, rallied from outside, fought four deep into deep stretch and got denied by the winner. HURRICANE CLOUD (GB) pulled early along the inside and up the backstretch, waited in hand behind the leaders around the far turn, lacked room from upper stretch to the sixteenth pole, then gained an opening and launched a late bid but ran out of ground. OTTOMAN PRINCE (IRE) forwardly placed three deep, fought three deep then dueled outside ENJOY IT STRAIT at the quarter pole, seized command at the top of the lane, relinquished the lead at the eighth pole, stayed on well but was outfinished by the top trio. FIFTY CENT DOLLARS pressed the pace between rivals then began tugging the rider along, fought between foes to the five-sixteenths pole, could not keep up outside the quarter pole, then weakened and was not persevered with in the final furlong. ENJOY IT STRAIT showed the way under pressure from outer rivals, coaxed along to keep up around the turn but failed to match strides with a quarter mile remaining and weakened in the lane.
