Chart notes
SEA BREEZE BOY sprinted away from the gate to set the pace from a clear lead to prove best. OUR BUBBY BOY was forwardly placed from off the rail, tucked in near the eighth pole but was no match for the winner but was best of the rest. PROOF OF PURCHASE raced in the middle of the pack while saving ground and was along for show. JUST N JACK had no speed and passed tiring rivals. DAX A DREAMING trailed the field through the turn then tipped out to five wide in upper stretch to improve postiion. COLONEL PUNCH showed no early speed away from the gate then steadily advanced through the turn, tipped out to three wide in upper stretch but was empty. OBSIDIAN GOLD stalked the pace from off the rail to midway through the turn and retreated.
