Chart notes
SURF TIDE was off mid pack and racing in between rivals, shifted into the three path near the quarter pole, challenged for the lead, battled in the upper stretch, prevailed by the eighth pole then drew off for the win. MS DELUXE was racing mid pack in the five path, shifted into the three path through the turn, was kept on point, and encouraged, closed down the lane picking off rivals all the way to the wire picking up second. CC TOAST TO ME was off and racing in the middle of the field and in the three path, smartly decided to stay to the inside through the turn and into the upper stretch, raced on the rail, passing horses and gaining ground, got behind a stopping rival, shifted to avoid that foe and went on to get third. REEM AL GHAZAL vied for the lead, led, raced o the rail and stopped in the stretch. POONIE SUE was off mid pack in the three path, checked badly, went back to last, recovered, made one run, saved ground and picked up tiring rivals. ONE EYE ANGEL was forwardly placed using early speed, then tired. PAINT ME WARRIOR missed the break, then trailed, finally got in contact with the field not finishing last. ALEKAT ROMANCE vied for the lead, raced in the six path, then had nothing left for the stretch drive.
