Chart notes
FORTES gave chase toward the outside through the backstretch, raced in the four path on the turn and dug in from the head of the lane to get up later yards. GREEN GABLES pressured the pace and raced close two deep on the turn, dueled through the stretch for second but was outfinished for the win. WITNESS THE ENERGY took the lead leaving the chute and set a pressured pace, contested the edge nearest the rail on the turn, dug in under steady handling leaving the turn but was caught in later yards. AT THE HALF gave chase, rounded the turn in the four and five paths and finished evenly to pass some rivals. TRUE HEIRESS gave chase outside then flattened in the five path on the turn. STRESSED pressured the early pace then faded into the turn. ALWAYS SOMETHING gave chase inside to no avail. GRANDIOSELY engaged in close early chase toward the inside but was pulled up lame approaching the head of the lane and had to be euthanized on the track.
