SPEEDY HANS was away a step slow on the break to trail at the start, improved down the backstretch to settle in mid-pack between runners, dropped back a touch waiting for the cue to move in the third tier at the three furlong marker, picked up the bit when coaxed at the quarter pole, had his sights set on the leader four wide turning for home, seized control outside with a sixteenth remaining and was going away comfortably at the wire for the win. JAMIESTA was unhurried seeing the field down the backside, co-trailed on the inside at the half, advanced on the rail around the bend, angled out four wide in upper stretch and had a good stretch rally to be a non-threatening runner up when crossing the finish line. BOLD RELOAD was alone up top going down the backside, continued unopposed setting the pace around the turn, was clinging onto the lead in the two path with an eighth left to run, gave way to the winner at the sixteenth pole and then was just caught at the wire missing the place share. TOLD IT ALL had a tracking role inside a fellow runner in the beginning, kept pace on the rail through the turn, was looking for a seam just behind the frontrunner in upper stretch, shifted outside choosing the outer lane with a furlong left to run and was coming on again but didn't have enough late. FOREST BUZZ tracked outside down the backstretch, moved in to chase outside on the turn to be the hunt three wide by upper stretch, could not find another gear late and weakened between rivals at the furlong marker. MIGHTY SEA was near the rear ahead of one runner down the backstretch, co-trailed on the outside at the half, came under a rider making no headway around the bend, angled out in the seven path at the top of the lane but could not be a factor in the drive to the wire. LAPOCHKA stalked in the third flight on the outside, travelled three wide throughout the turn making little impression, shifted out six wide for the drive to the finish line but failed to fire down the lane.
