LIL RICHARDS BELLO stalked from inside then dropped back off the pace, drew closer in the middle stages, steadied off heels approaching the five-sixteenths pole, angled out into the lane, moved out again at the eighth pole, dug in gamely and caught LOW EXPECTATIONS near the wire. LOW EXPECTATIONS hard to load into the gate, broke well and was prominent early from outside, closest in pursuit from the two path to the far turn, challenged the leader from outside at the five-sixteenths pole, took over at the top of the stretch, resisted into deep stretch and got nailed in the closing moments. BEE CATCHER tracked from inside then became rank briefly into the first turn, settled far off the pace, saved ground through the second bend, moved off the fence in the lane and closed well to get up for third. AURELIAN MAN showed early speed then stalked in the two path into the first turn, dropped off the pace around the bend, moved closer into the far turn, chased two then three wide to the stretch, challenged in upper stretch, then fought gamely between late but could not summon the needed final kick. MOODY JIM (IRE) was off slow from inside, traveled near the back on the rail, pushed on while angling out on the far turn, spun four wide into the lane, tipped out further and came with late run but was not enough. KERRY GOLD tracked from inside, drew closer on the backstretch, roused at the quarter pole, lacked room briefly into the stretch and finished evenly once in the clear. EVENING SUN (GB) chased from well off the pace in the two path, spun three wide into the lane and kept on willingly while needing to find more to be a threat. FLY THE SKY off slow to start, trailed through the early stages, had one rival beat into the stretch and summoned a mild rally to close the gap late. GRAPE NUTS WARRIOR settled in the two path, remained a bit off the inside to the far turn, got floated out into the lane and flattened out. LEYAS CANDY showed good early foot and moved over to the inside once in the clear, controlled the pace in hand, challenged by outer rival at the five-sixteenths pole, lost command at the top of the lane and gave way. HAPI HAPI settled outside a pair of rivals, dropped back three then four wide on the far turn and had little left for the drive.
