Chart notes
RIVER OF BABYLON forced the pace, had the lead on the turn and with a clear lead from the three path in mid stretch held sway. STREET SERENADE was in touch and a factor on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch was no match for the winner. BILL NEEDLE was in range and raced evenly on the turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch had no late kick. TOURIST'S DREAM was unhurried early and had a mild gain on the turn but from the seven path at the top of the stretch was no real threat. SERENADE AT SEA set a pressured pace and dueled on the turn but weakened late. SAME AGAIN DOC was well back and showed nothing while outrun.
