Chart notes
TWILIGHT VISION pressed the pace for the first quarter mile, took command midway on the turn, dug-in when challenged midway down the lane and gamely repelled the closers in an all-out drive. STACY ATTACK stalked the pacesetters through the turn, rallied four wide turning for home to engage the leader at the eighth pole, battled with the winner to the wire and could not get passed. CEVICHE reserved off the pace to the head of the lane while saving ground, tipped out around the tiring early pacesetter in upper stretch to split rivals and be gaining belatedly coming up just short. LOFTHOUSE set a pressured pace from the rail to upper stretch and gradually weakened though the lane. QUARANTINA tracked the leaders into the turn, was set to an early drive from four wide on the bend and failed to gain ground. DATTTSAFANCYFOX was in tight being squeezed between rivals leaving the gate, dropped back to trail and was never a threat. THEODOROPOULOS chased the early pace and faded on the turn.
