Chart notes
TRICKY MOMENT forced in at the break, was hustled along to contest the pace inside STORMY ATTACK but off the rail, moved clear and had the rail on the bend, dug in under urging deep stretch and got the nod at the wire. MIDNITE ALEX bore in at the break, advanced from inside, took over second two wide on the turn, steadily closed in on the weakening leader in the lane, was very narrowly outfinished but easily best of the others. ALLEGRISSIMO broke inward then bumped solidly with STORMY ATTACK, was settled, saved ground taking the turn, angled outside MIDNITE ALEX at the top of the stretch, moved clear for third then could only just hold his position late. BOUJI IS A WORD was an earl factor between horses, improved position three wide on the bend, floated out some entering the lane and failed to have a significant response. HEARTBREAK GAME raced in the second flight from outside on the backstretch but faded widest on the turn. DIRTY THOUGHTS also forced in at the start, soon trailed, saved ground and was never a factor. STORMY ATTACK broke inward, as well, at the start, was corrected, bumped solidly with ALLEGRISSIMO, bobbled, was sent to contest the pace outside TRICKY MOMENT but began to fade two wide after three furlongs.
