Chart notes
SANTINO'S FANTASY was angled outside KING DOODLE early on, closed the gap three wide on the bend, lost ground staying outside that one entering the lane, rallied five wide deep stretch and got up at the wire. SEMINOLE BEACH moved inside midway on the backstretch, made up ground through the turn, altered two wide for a clear path midstretch, began to gradually drift out as he vied for the lead inside the last sixteenth, edged ahead nearing the wire but was outfinished. KING DOODLE vied for the lead just outside SWISS GUARD from the beginning, drifted out some into the lane, angled in to be three wide midstretch, fought for the lead from between horses inside the last eighth and slowly yielded from tight quarters in the waning yards. SWISS GUARD contested the pace from inside, floated out some entering the stretch, drew clear, moved back to the rail approaching the furlong marker and slowly wore down in the late going. MOHAAFETH was away slowly, chased from outside, was three wide through the turn, lost his path to KING DOODLE midstretch, found himself boxed in inside the final furlong, altered out with seventy yards left and rallied belatedly. ARROW STRIKE angled out early on, was two wide taking the turn, angled out widest into the stretch and had no late bid.
