Chart notes
BARTLETT set the pace on the inside, was pressed along, shook free passing the quarter pole, responded when roused, pulled away and was kept to the task. PRAETORIAN GUARD raced off the pace inside, advanced on the turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied outside and finished well for second. CHELONIAN stumbled badly at the start and steadied, raced two wide off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, rallied on the rail and missed for second. TREBLE CLEF raced off the pace inside, chased inside on the far turn, angled out and finished evenly. MALIBU STAR raced four wide early, settled off the pace, chased between rivals on the far turn and tired. LAYTOWN pressed the pace racing close up two wide, chased on the far turn and faded. MR. HUSTLE stalked the leaders, chased on the far turn and tired. RICH'S WAY raced three wide off the pace and did not factor.
