HURRICANE DUDE tracked the pace rating, angled to the to path through the second turn, then angled three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, edged ahead and held. ELFUEGOMASBRILANTE mid pack, looped up two and three wide through the second turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and lacked the needed late kick. OLD FASHIONED GIRL well placed and off the rail, gained a striking position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, made a steady gain, edged ahead at the furlong marker, then flattened and held the show. DERBY CHILD sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, drew off through the second turn, then weakened the final furlong and held a share. HOPPERTULLIO well placed and outside, lost some position three wide through the second turn, then faded into the stretch. TORREFACTOR was no factor. DISCREET BNB was never involved.
