Chart notes
JOSH'S HONOR sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, turned back a bid and shook clear into the stretch, then drew off and lasted under steady pressure. CALL THE BALL unhurried, moved up two and three wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch and closed well for the place. MEROKEE rated back, raced boxed and pulling through the turn, angled out and fanned four wide into the stretch, then closed willingly, gaining the show. CARLOTUK tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, came through inside, angled out and evened out. DR RAGS mid pack, moved up three wide through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch and weakened. WARRIOR'S CAUSE was a brief factor. SOUND THE CHARGE stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the turn, then faded into the stretch.
