Chart notes
HEY BOOTS set a pressured pace through the backstretch, moved to the rail into the turn and was kept alert through the lane. OUTKISSED gave chase outside through the backstretch, raced close in the three path on the turn but had to settle for second. ADVANCE CASH pressured the pace off the rail, exchanged contact with Imperial King approaching the three eighths pole and was hemmed in past the five sixteenths, raced at the rail on the turn then flattened in the lane. PRIZE FIGHTER gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path then flattened in the lane. IMPERIAL KING gave chase then exchanged contact with Advance Cash while nearest the rail and was roughed from tight quarters approaching the three eighths pole and showed little further. HEADS OR TAILS gave chase and rounded the turn about the five path. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the rider of Advance Cash for interference approaching the three eighths pole, lodged by the rider of Imperial King, and as a result, disqualified the former to fifth place for that infraction.
