Chart notes
PAULA'S SURPRISE was hustled early to set a pressured pace on the inside, then shook clear leaving the five eights marker, then drifted out leaving the five sixteenths and came five wide into the lane while clear, then continued to drift to the nine path and then shook clear again nearing the sixteenth marker and was clear to prove best under a drive. AFRICAN ANGEL was reserved early, advanced four wide by the three eighths marker, then moved in nearing the quarter pole and came three wide off then bend while making a bid, but hung in the final sixteenth while clearly second best. GIRVINIZED was taken back and wide early while far back, advanced four wide on the far turn, then offered a mild late rally to gain the show award. SHE'S A LINO pressed the early pace three wide, then rated back and was two wide on the far turn, but weakened in the lane. DUST BUNNY passed the tiring rivals. LADY LIBERTY BELLE was five wide into the first turn, chased the pace four to three wide and tired. FAYTASTIC was four wide into the first turn and was reserved early on the outside and was not a factor. BOHEMIA BABE chased the pace on the inside and tired. LADY ANNABELLE was six wide into the first turn and was through after a half mile.
