Chart notes
BILLY'S BET mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged ahead in the final strides. TWELVETWO set the pace on the inside, shook clear into the stretch, then was outfinished. TRAVELLER stalked the pace on the outside while rating, bid outside of that one into the stretch, then lacked the needed late kick and settled for the show. CLASSICAL well placed and outside, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and did not have enough late. BRENNAN'S WAR tracked the pace, raced boxed through the turn, came through inside into the stretch and evened out. MAJESTIC JOHNSON improved position, widest. DIAMONDHARD STONE was never involved. SHE SPEAKS WELL broke awkwardly from the gate and was no factor.
