EMPIRE MAGIC pressed the pace on the outside then in the two path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, took over in the three path into upper stretch, shook clear into the final furlong and drew away under steady urging. GRANADILLA went to the front, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage while a bit off the inside into upper stretch, lost touch with the winner into the final furlong and proved no match while clear for the place. PURPOSE tracked the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path early on the turn then chased, dropped to the two path late on the bend and tired while able to get the show. IN ALL MY DREAMS broke a bit slow then moved out, settled outside under some urging, moved closer in the four path on the turn, chased into the stretch and came up empty. TIZALLMINE broke a half-step slow, was urged along at the rear, raced inside to the two path on the turn and was no factor.
