FLASHY LOVER went to the front, drove clear around the turn, pulled away and finished well. FORSAKEN pressed the pace, saved ground around the turn, proved no match for the winner, but was best of others. PREFERITO DA BARBI raced within striking distance, made a late try, but proved no match for the top two. JAMAICAN ME lacked early speed, raced outside around the turn, showed late interest, but was no factor. APRIORITY AVENGER raced evenly near the back and was never a threat.
