Chart notes
BRIAN'S IRON MIKE raced within striking distance, took the lead around final turn, drove clear down the stretch and was kept to the task. MANGUM raced in the middle of the field, came around the second turn between rivals, made a bid down the lane, racing four wide, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. BALLINONABUDJET lacked early speed, made a late bid and was outfinished for second. FORTUITY raced near the back in the beginning, made a late wide bid, but was no real factor. VENN pressed the early pace, weakened inside and was no threat late. FRENCH COMPOSER raced in the middle of the pack and put forth an even effort. BILOXI lacked early speed, moved up, but was no factor. FIESTY FIST raced within striking distance and dropped back. OUT RUN'M always raced near the back and showed little. HARPETH RIVER sprinted to the front, drove clear and tired around the final turn.
