Chart notes
UFFDA came away awkwardly, recovered and went up to press the pace outside a trio of rivals, fought on even terms four deep past the five-sixteenths pole, seized command entering the lane, kicked clear with a furlong remaining and was kept busy to the wire. A TOAST TO LANIE away quickly to take control then vied for the lead three deep up the backstretch and around the turn, lost command shortly after, could not kick on with UFFDA entering the final furlong but stayed on well for a clear second. SIDE BY SIDE contested the early pace between rivals, fought in the two path around the bend, lost contact with outer rival in upper stretch and churned on to beat SHOP TILL YOU DROP for third. SHOP TILL YOU DROP pressed briefly from inside then fought on even terms up the backstretch, battled from the fence around the bend, yielded in upper stretch and weakened. CHASE'N KOTA broke a bit slow while brushing the gate, chased behind the top trio three wide into the turn, angled to the rail while losing ground to the leaders, came up empty in the lane and was eased late.
