TAZMAN pressed the issue inside down the back straight, seized command on the fence with five sixteenths from home, opened up on the field at the top of the lane and cruised in comfortably for the win in deep stretch. WINSTON BLUE rated kindly tracking the front twosome with horses on both sides at the half, was hard ridden but could not narrow the margin on the winner through the turn, edged closer for the place share turning for home and ran on smartly to the wire easily besting the rest at the finish line for second money. MO TOURIST was unhurried to trail in the early stages, began to pick up runners inside at the quarter pole, shifted out gathering speed five wide in upper stretch and with a good late surge got up for the show money right at the wire. BREAK THE SPELL had a tracking role on the outside keeping an eye on the lead two down the backside, kept pace in the second flight outside around the turn, was in the mix for a piece of the prize four wide at the top of the stretch, moved in at the seventy yard pole for the show award but then just got caught at the finish line to settle on the fringes in the end. ENCHANT ME stalked near the rear inside down the backstretch, was checked sharply avoiding the fallen runner midway down the backside, started to mount a rally splitting rivals three wide at the quarter pole and while four wide in the stretch drive finished up one paced. ADELAIDE COURT was away alertly for the lead just outside, gave way up top to the winner midway around the bend, dueled for the runners up share between horses in the two path in upper stretch, could not find more late and wilted at the sixteenth pole. UNCAPTURED MOMENT stalked in the second to last group three wide with rivals on either side, was roused on the turn having little response, could see the field by the quarter pole and in the three path in the stretch run managed to pass a couple of weary foes down the lane. SOUPER COP settled close to the back of the pack three wide between horses, made little movement in the third tier inside foes through the turn and weakened inside rivals at the furlong marker. PRINCE OF THIEVES had a stalking role four deep ahead of only one runner down the backside, improved outside runners by the half, could not continue to advance four wide around the bend, angled out six wide for the drive to the wire but could not factor in the stretch running. READY SHAKESPEARE had a good position on the rail watching the lead duo down the backside, took an awkward step on the fence falling at the nine sixteenths pole dislodging the rider and left via eq ambulance.
