SUEZ chased inside, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, dueled inside to the wire and prevailed. OPTIMAL chased outside, rallied five wide into the stretch, closed gamely outside rivals in the stretch run, dueled to the wire and missed. DANCE FOR RANSOM vied inside for the lead, dueled into the stretch, dug in gamely between rivals and was outkicked. TAP THE BRAKES raced off the pace, advanced on the turn, came two wide into the lane, angled out in midstretch and rallied mildly. PREACHER vied three wide for command, dueled on the turn and into the stretch, then tired. EL CAPRICHO raced off the pace, came four wide into the lane and failed to threaten.
