Chart notes
AMERICAN DREAMIN lifted a bit, but came away well, bumped out by BIG BANG ROCKET early, responded to right handed urging to get the leading passing the eighth pole and gamely held well to the wire. LETHAL COWBOY 123 broke in at the start, mildly asked early, got to the lead in the first fifty yards, drifted out two paths passing the gap, asked right handed, straightened out, was head and head with AMERICAN DREAMIN with two hundred yards to go, and was outkicked by that rival while just holding on to second. CARTEL PERRY bumped by FAVORITE JESSHAWK at the start, kept being pushed out to bump BIG BANG ROCKET, bobbled a bit from the contact, straightened out, asked right handed, switched hand passing the gap, asked left handed, and rallied to miss second. FAVORITE JESSHAWK broke out, bumped at the start, continued to drift out and rub with CARTEL PERRY early, drifted in pass the gap, asked right handed midway, and kept on to the wire to narrowly missed third. BLOOD VIPER came away midpack, accelerated well to get third early, drifted out away from LETHAL COWBOY 123 passing the eighth pole, asked right handed, crossed SNOW BOUND in the process, and was outkicked to the wire under steady urging. ULTIMATE BATTLE became very fractious and thrashed around when rival BIG BANG ROCKET began to get fractious in the gate, broke out a path, was quickly corrected, drifted in two paths early, and failed to kick on under steady urging. APOLITICAL CHILITAS hit the inside part of the gate at the start, came in three paths, was last early, asked right handed shortly thereafter, responded mildly to urging and passed troubled rivals in the final sixteenth. BIG BANG ROCKET became vey fractious in the gate, broke in to bump CARTEL PERRY at the start, bumped on both sides early, pushed out behind AMERICAN DREAMIN, lugged out passing the gap, and was kept to mild pressure to the wire. COMPETENT came away midpack, had a wide path early, asked right handed in the first hundred yards, was getting outrun from both sides passing the gap, was put in tight by a shying SNOW BOUND and a drifting in FAVORITE JESSHAWK, lost his path, and drifted in late. SNOW BOUND came away well enough and kept his path, was in a bit tight approaching the gap, lost path passing the gap and had to take up when BLOOD VIPER made contact and crossed completely over, and kept under a hand ride when mildly shying away late from drifting in rival COMPETENT. PER RULING #32 FROM THE CALIFORNIA HORSE RACING BOARD, AMERICAN DREAMIN WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST TO UNPLACED DUE TO A MEDICATION VIOLATION.
