Chart notes
PROFESSOR NICK with the second flight, closed quickly four wide into the turn, drew on even terms for the lead past the five sixteenths marker, matched strides with the runner up until deep stretch and drew off late under confident handling. SADIE'S GHOST pressed the pace two wide into the turn, made the lead near the five sixteenths pole, battled with the winner until deep stretch then was no match while clear for second. DUSTY BILLY allowed to settle, closed rapidly along the rail into the stretch then leveled off in the final furlong. R C IRONSIDE stalked the pace into the stretch and faded late. DUO bobbled inward bumping BLUE BLOOD COWBOY at the start and had brief speed. EL FAITE was no factor. BLUE BLOOD COWBOY was bumped at the start then failed to reach contention. WHY KITTEN WHY away alertly, the pace pace until mid turn then was used up. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
