Chart notes

DERBY DAY KISS raced widest, loomed boldly on the far turn, matched strides through the stretch and finished second best. IMA MOM well placed, was in tight between rivals into the far turn then finished with good courage three wide. OUR LAST SONG offered a mild bid four wide on the far turn then leveled off. CALI CRUISER failed to menace. EMERSON JONES stalked the early pace three wide and was through after a half. SHAKEURSKINNYLEGS chased the pace along the inside into the second turn then weakened. DANZANITEAWAY was no factor. CHICA CHULA was outrun. NATIONAL DIAMOND rushed to the lead, set the pace for five furlongs then stopped.
