Chart notes
DUST DANCER rated on the front end outside XPRESSIR, took over when asked two wide leaving the turn, moved clear inside the final furlong, was all out in the late going and held sway. FULL MAGAZINE forwardly placed outside, angled in some with a half mile to go, advanced two wide on the turn, altered outside DUST DANCER at the top of the lane, floated out to path five, drifted out through midstretch, held a straight path inside the last eighth, battled to keep second in the waning yards, closed well but was too late. FEVER NATION pressed the earl speed while toward the outside, did not keep up three wide on the bend, floated out to path five entering the lane and rallied belatedly deep stretch. RICHIESONAROLL broke somewhat slowly, moved to the inside early on and made a strong but late move two wide the final furlong. BUREAU soon trailed, lost considerable ground widest through the turn and also showed a willingness to run deep stretch. XPRESSIR contested the pace from inside for a half mile then gave way for the drive.
