Chart notes
RUN THE TABLE boxed in early, advanced two wide on the bend, altered outside FAST CROSS TRAFFIC at the top of the lane, drifted out a bit further under left-handed pressure, gradually lugged in under right-handed urging inside the last furlong but caught the latter in the final strides. FAST CROSS TRAFFIC pressed the early speed from outside, went for the lead on the bend, angled in some nearing the end of four furlongs, moved clear two wide in the stretch, was narrowly outfinished but clearly second best. RHODIUMS PRIDE prominent just off the rail, found himself boxed in nearing the turn, dropped back into the bend, took the turn from just off the inside and showed a willingness to run late. MAMAS FIRE broke a step slow and inward, chased from outside, progressed widest through the turn, vied for third briefly deep stretch but lacked the extra needed nearing the wire. HAND OVER MY HEART disputed the early pace inside LATE BLACKSMITH, had the rail on the turn then flattened out for the drive. LATE BLACKSMITH displayed early speed but faded two wide on the bend. DEMAND RANSOM mad a small lunge from the gate, was steadied when crowded by RUN THE TABLE leaving the five-furlong pole, had the rail on the turn, fanned out for the stretch run but had little to offer.
