Chart notes
DOUBLE AGENT was bumped at the start, trailed through the clubhouse turn, closed rapidly near the inside into the stretch, split rivals two wide under left handed urging inside the furlong marker and was along in time. GRAY TORMENTOR unhurried early, closed willingly along the rail through the stretch and finished second best. GATHA'S SONG settled in the five path, closed rapidly on the far turn to make the lead at the top of the stretch while forced out to the seven path by the tiring pace setter, drifted in sharply to the three path near the furlong marker, was well handled then outfinished in the final stages. HIDDEN RANSOM drifted in bumping the winner at the start, chased the pace into the stretch and lacked the needed response. RAY'S EMPIRE sprinted to a clear lead on the first turn, widened down the backstretch, set the pace to the top of the stretch, drifted to the six path and was used up. GOLDSTRIKER was always outrun.
