Chart notes
STOP THE SPREAD bobbled very slightly at the start, stalked in the four path, bid outside of the leader entering the lane, vied between horses as an outer rival joined the fray in upper stretch, forged an advantage passing the furlong grounds and inched free late. HOPPIN JOHN laid off of the pace in the three path, launched a rally turning for home, swung five wide to take aim outside of the leaders entering the lane, bid three deep in upper stretch, vied into and leaving the furlong grounds, but was turned away in the final sixteenth. BYE BYE LIAM vied for the lead with an inner rival while taking the turn in the three path, led narrowly turning for home, dug in as an outer rival bid entering the lane, clung to an advantage from an outer pair in upper stretch, but was bested at the furlong grounds and yielded. BALADINE broke a step slow, stalked along the inside, then from the two path around the turn, chased into the lane and lacked a bid. ROCKSTAR RED raced at the rear along the inside, trailed turning for home, shifted out in upper stretch and failed to factor. SPURRIER vied for the lead with an outer rival while a path off of the inside around the turn, but weakened in upper stretch.
