Chart notes
STAROFTHEGAME had speed from the start, rallied three wide to make the lead before the five sixteenths pole, set the balance of the pace and widened through the stretch under left handed urging to win as much the best. REASON TO BELIEVE was bumped at the start, allowed to settle, had a mild late rally in the five path through the stretch and finished clear for second. MISS LITTLE BIT stalked the early pace, loomed boldly between horses three wide midway on the turn then was outfinished. IMPROBABLE FIRST dueled for the lead along the inside into the turn, had speed into the stretch then weakened. LUKE'S LASSO was no factor. FAST LUCK broke inward bumping REASON TO BELIEVE at the start and was no threat. VESTAL'S GAP was outrun. PICARO contested the early lead two wide and was through after a half.
